The most versatile pad with a straight cut that is perfect for dressage saddles, but accommodates close contact saddles as well. The cut-out over the withers eliminates pressure from bulk in the channel, while Fleeceworks™ dense Thera-Fleece® sheepskin provides relief from pressure points - such as stirrup bars - and distributes pressure from the overall weight load. In order to take complete advantage of sheepskin's therapeutic benefits, we recommend that this pad is worn directly between horse and saddle, however, it can be used with a quilted square pad underneath. The edge of the pad's entire circumference is rolled to prevent any binding material from touching the horse's sides.
